HeroSmash uses an Artix Account to login and play. Once you login to your Artix Account via our Portal Site, click on My Account. The Account Menu at the left then has options to change your password, confirm your email address and change your email address.
Changing Your Email Address
If you try to change your email and receive an error message, this is because the new email address you chose is already used on another Artix Account and you will have to pick a different new email or change your email address on the other Artix Account first. You can only use one specific email address per account.
We understand that it is common for you to have more than one email address, so it is important to know how to change the current email address. Always make sure the email we have for your account is up to date and active. However, if your email address is your Artix Account name, you can only use that email address on that account. You can change your current email, but please note that your Artix Account name will also change.
Also, always make sure to always use your own email address or a trusted parent/family email address and that you use a secure email password.
If you cannot change your email for some reason, such as your old email that you no longer have access to was confirmed, please visit our Help Page to recover your account.
Confirming Your Email Address
Confirming your email will allow you to chat in HeroSmash, it helps confirm you own the account as someone will not be able to change it without your authorization via email, and you can receive newsletters. We respect your privacy and will never sell or give your email address to anyone else!
Once your email address is confirmed, you will see the message: "Thank you! A message has been sent to your account email address: ____________________."
Wait a few minutes, then check your email inbox for the new message. Read the message carefully, and click the CONFIRM link inside the message.
Once you receive the email, please click on the link provided to confirm your email. Once your email address is confirmed, you will see the message: "Account Email Address Confirmed Successfully." Please note, if you do confirm your email or change your email and re-confirm your new email, your Artix Account name may be changed to your email address.
Changing Your Password
If you try to change your password and you did not choose a strong enough password, you may receive a message that the password is weak. Please choose a stronger password and you should not receive this message again.
If you are attempting to change your password and just get a blank screen, please use a different browser and it should work.
Please do not give out your password to anyone!
Changing Your Name
If you have an old Artix Account created before 2012, your login may require a username instead of an email address. We are sorry, Artix account usernames cannot be changed.
